Sub: Introduction/Enhancement of Tuition fee in AEES Schools.
Sir,
This is in continuation with the meeting held on 19th April 2009 with you and the discussion had on the above mentioned subject. We would like bring the following facts for your kind consideration.
1. As we mentioned that the staff side had a meeting with the Chairman AEES on 16th April 2009 and requested him not to implement the decision to introduce the tuition fee in the AEES schools.
2. As per our information no fees enhancement has been taken placed in the Kendriya Vidyalayas in the current academic year.
3. It is brought to the notice that Kendriya Vidyalayas are not charging any extra fee to the “any other category” just like the separate fee structure introduced in AEES for Non-DAE wards i.e. the fee charged to the wards of the Central/State Government employees are same to the other category wards.
4. Any such proposal to increase/introduce fee, the same subject should be brought in the Departmental Council for discussion as an official agenda or should be discuss with NFAEE and other recognized associations so that both side can air their views and arrive in a conclusion
5. It is pertinent to note here that in the recent Judgment of Hon’ble Mumbai High Court the proposal of the management to increase in tuition fees in private un-aided schools has been turned down.
.
In the view of the above we once again request you that both DAE and Non-DAE ward’s tuition fee should not be increased. It will be highly appreciated that the decision in the above request is communicated to this Union
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
(Jayaraj.K.V)
