An extended Working Committee of NFAEE was held on 26^th July 2012 at New Delhi. Office bearers of following Associations and Unions were attended in the meeting:

The meeting took following decisions:

1.    Departmental Council Meeting:

The meeting discussed about the approach of the Department towards the JCM functioning. Secretary Staff Side, Leader staff side and President NFAEE briefly explained the approach and the exposed the casual approach on circulating ATR, Agenda items, rejection of Agenda, etc. After a detailed discussion the meeting suggested the staff side should take the concern expressed the Working Committee meeting and accordingly a firm stand should be taken in the Staff Side Meeting as well as in the Departmental Council meeting on 30^th July 2012. The meeting also decided to discuss in detail about the functioning of the Departmental Council and other JCM forum in the ensuing Working Committee.

2.    Call given by Confederation of Central Government Employees & Workers:

Secretary General explained the call given by the Confederation of CG Employees & Workers. In the March to Parliament, Confederation declared a Token Strike by Central Government Employees on 12^th December 2012 (12.12.12) demanding constitution of 7^th Central Pay Commission, DA Merger and other 13 Charter of demands. Considering the earlier experience and the developments it is deiced that

a.     The Confederation call shall be discussed by all affiliates before 31^st August either in their Executive/Managing Committee or in the wider forum such as General Body meeting and then the Working Committee meeting which will be held in the second week of September shall discuss and decide

b.     The notice for action shall be given by NFAEE to the Secretary Department of Atomic Energy

c.      All affiliates shall actively participate in the Campaign programme being organized by the State/District level by Confederation of Central Government Employees & Workers

d.     All India Convention shall be convened exclusively to discuss and formulate the Charter of Demands as well as the campaign prigramme

3.    Request for affiliation to NFAEE from CATGANGA:

The Secretary General informed that the application for affiliation from CATGANGA, association of Scientific Assistants from RRCAT which is recognized by the Department of Atomic Energy has been received and a preliminary discussion was held in the earlier National Executive.

The meeting decided that to accord affiliation to CATGANGA as ithe same was given to other supervisory staff associations exists in NFC, HWP Manuguru and HWP Tuticorin and requested that the both association at RRCAT should jointly work for the betterment of the employees.

The meeting also decided that no association formed after the recognition of NFAEE, i.e. after 9^th June 2007, where already a recognized union or association is affiliated with NFAEE from that particular unit shall affiliate with NFAEE. 

The meeting decided to convene the next Working Committee meeting in the second week of September 2012.
