Dear Comrades,
The historical strike of Indian Working class on 2nd
September became grand success in the entire country.
As far as concerned in DAE the strike was grand success in GSO
Kalpakkam, BARC Faciliaty Kalpakkam and Zirconeum Complex Palaykayal. The
leadership of GSO Employees Association, BARCF Employees Association and
Zirconium Employees Unions has shown the courage to establish that they are
real representatives and leaders of the working class of the DAE employees.
It is pertinent to note here that GSOEA and its leaders were
abused by naming them as leg pullers. But really they established they are real
leaders by ensuring the participation of more than 90% employees in the Strike
on 2nd September 2015
Similarly the BARCFEA too did tremendous job to unifying the
work force at Kalpakkam and of BARC facilities and succeeded to unifying the
employees. The participation in strike in BARC Facilities too encouraging as
90% of the employees was participated in the strike.
Zirconium employees union even though the junior most union
among the affiliates shown how to lead a union in the Industrial establishment.
Even after call for conciliation process the union succeeded to keep the
employees intact and the result was participation of 90% employees in the
strike. They shown the way to the so called experienced and trade union back
grounded leaders of the Industrial units that if the leader is having the will
to continue the strike no conciliation process can stop them and the workers
are not the culprit and the leaders are the real culprit for not participating
in the strike in the name of the conciliation process or any other reason.
Bhavini Employees Union, though not an affiliate of NFAEE as part of DAE family joined with the
Joint movement of Kalpakkam fraternity and participated in the Strike and
reported that 95% of the employees joined in the strike.
NFAEE salute the leadership of BARCF Employees Association, GSO
Employees Association, Zirconium Employees Union and Bhavini Employees Union
whole heartedly and wish the leaders of other affiliates got motivated by
seeing the leadership quality and do better in the future agiational programme
which may help strengthen NFAEE.
In other units it was very poor response in the Strike action.
In NFC Hyderabad it is reported that
about 30% of the employees participated in the Strike. Apart from the
leadership and activist of NFC Industrial Workers Union organized a day long
dharna in which about 100 employees participated
In AMD Hyderabad office bearers and
few activists participated in the strike. There was gate meeting in the morning
which was attended by all members. In Regional units of AMD also some office
bearers joined in the strike
In VECC Kolkatta Executive Committee
members and few activist participated in the strike
In HWP Talcher Committee members and
few activists participated in the strike. Gate meeting was arranged and
employees joined by wearing black badges
In HWP Kota Committee Members
participated in the Strike. There was a Gate Meeting in the morning
In HWP Manuguru General Secretary of
the Associations participated in the strike. Demonstration organized in the
morning
In Mumbai few employees of BARC, DPS
and DCSEM along with the Committee Members of AEWSU, AIAEDPS (Stores) Staff
Association, DPS (DAE) Employees Assn and DCSEMSA participated in the strike.
There was demonstration at BARC north gate from 6.30am to 10.00am.
In RRCAT, Indore pamphlet distributed
and employees attended duty by wearing badges.
Last minute changes made in RMP Mysore
and conducted only gate meeting
In HWP Baroda conducted gate meeting
In BARC Tarapur employees attended
duty by wearing black badges
No programme was carried out in HWB,
BRIT, DAE Secretariat

IGCAR Kalpakkam & HWP Tuticorine,
