Dear Comrades,

 

        Enquiries regarding Cadre review, PRIS etc are getting from various corners day after day based on the information spread from unknown agencies. As the head quarters didn’t have any authentic information we could not gave confirmation on such news spread and hence not responded for various mails and phone calls.

 

        Following information has been received from DAE in respect to certain issues:

 

1. CADRE REVIEW:

DAE authorities also got information that Ministry of Finance/Department of Expenditure approved the Cadre Review Report, but yet to get official information from the Finance Ministry. DAE says no information regarding the date of effect or contents of the approval.

 

2. PRIS:

DAE official says expects approval from the Prime Minister Office any time. As per the official version, the delay for approval is due to the delay of submission of the proposal by DAE.

 

3. OTA for Industrial units:

Proposal has been submitted for CCA. CCA sought certain clarification in respect to the implementation during 5^th CPC and the date of effect. Official version is that submitted the clarification sought by the CCA and the file is under process now.

 

4. CHSS Card renewal for parents:

Proposal to revise the income ceiling of parents to renew the CHSS card is submitted for approval.

 

5. Consideration for PVNU for  education allowance:

It is understood that Department accepted the suggestion to reimburse the fees towards PVNU being given to the AEES for fees towards various activities including computer education, extra curricular activities, etc. Order is awaited

 

6. Revise the exercise option for fixation of pay on promotion:

DAE in consultation with DoPT has been issued clarification that the employees who got promotion 2005 onwards can revise the option for fixation on promotion, if they want to get the benefit while fixing the pay on promotion.

 

As per the CCS (Revised pay) Rules 2008, those who got promotion in the month of February and May 2008 would be benefit if they opted second option where as those who got promotion in the month of August & November would be benefited, if they opted for first option.

 

GENERAL COUNCIL MEETIN of NFAEE:

 

          In the working committee meeting held on 12^th February 2009, it was proposed to hold the General Council meeting at Hyderabad, if the host association approved the proposal. NFCEA has been intimated their inability to host the meeting this time at Hyderabad. VECCSA Kolkotta has been voluntarily agreed to host the General Council Meeting on 4^th &5^th April 2009 at VECC. If the GC meeting has not been convened before April first week, it will be difficult to hold before July as the General election, summer vacation, monsoon, etc will be the hurdles. Official notification shall be issued within a day or two.

        All affiliates are requested not to go with speculations and rumors. Wait for the actual information. Always there will be people who try to break the unity and such elements will be in the forefront to spread misinformation, half truths and lies and to blame the united movement at the behest for the management. Beware of them and expose such elements.
